Ayaka is a legendary DPS class with an insane freeze team build. Her kit is based on stacking buffs, making her an excellent quickswap DPS. Her ascension stat is the Crit Damage percentage, which increases each ascension phase. This makes her a powerful dps tank, but it also has a high learning curve and a limited amount of cooldowns.
Kamisato Art: Soumetsu
Kamisato Art: Soumettsu is a Combat Talent that can only be used by Kamisato Ayaka. This talent deals 19x Cutting DMG and 1x Bloom DMG. Both deals damage and share a 2.5 second Internal Cooldown. Cutting DMG has a range of three, and the Bloom DMG has no range. This talent is also excellent for pushing small enemies.
If you’re looking for a cool way to increase the level of Kamisato Art: Soumeta, you can use the ‘Dacne on the Thin Ice’ ability. This ability increases damage dealt by 298%. The effect of this ability can be activated once per 10 seconds. This skill also increases the amount of Weapon Ascension Materials you can obtain.
This skill summons a snowstorm. Once it’s active, it deals Cryo DMG to enemies and decreases Hyouka’s cooldown by 0.3 seconds. In addition to this, Kamisato Art: Soumetsu will also unleash two smaller blade storms. Each of these blade storms deals 20 percent damage. This skill is very useful if you’re fighting in snowstorms.
Old Handguards
To level up your Ayaka talent, you must have at least 18 Old Handguards and thirty Kageuchi Handguards. If you do not have these materials, you can farm them from the Violet Court, which is located in Inazuma. These handguards are drops from Kairagi and Nobushi bosses, which drop them in group. Alternatively, you can farm these items from the Violet Court on Sundays.
You can obtain Old Handguards by killing Nobushi enemies, Kageuchi, and Famed Handguards. Inazuma has 17 Nobushi enemies, and they drop Handguards when killed. At higher levels, you can get better Handguards from Kairagi and Nobushi. When upgrading your Ayaka, you must also have Original Resin and Ley Line Outcrop.
The Perpetual Mechanical Array and Handguard items drop from enemies in Nobushi and Inazuma. Old Handguards and Bloodjade Branches can be obtained by farming Nobushi enemies in Inazuma, which drop on Tuesdays. The Crowns of Insight can be obtained through limited events. The materials for these weapons are not very difficult to get, and will be very useful in the future.
Ayaka is only available on certain Character Event Banners, and is available at limited times. Her debut appeared from July 21 through August 10, 2021. However, due to Version 2.7 Delay, Ayaka had an extended first rerun, which meant she remained available for three extra weeks. As of now, she is unavailable in the game, but MiHoYo has said the six-week banner shouldn’t have a negative effect on future reruns.
Ayaka is a fifth-star character in Genshin Impact. Her origins remain a mystery, but fans were able to get a sneak peek of her duties in the Yashiro Commission. The new version of the game will be released on July 21, and Ayaka is also featured on the Character Event Wish for version 2.0. You can find more information on her build in our Genshin Impact guide.
Kageuchi Handguards
To level up your Ayaka talent, you will need a total of 30 Kageuchi Handguards, 18 Old Handguards, and 36 Famed, and you will need the same amount of drop items to level up each of her talents. You can farm for these materials by traveling to the Violet Court in Inazuma. Players can also farm all of these materials during the Sunday farming event.
To obtain a Kageuchi Handguard, you must defeat Nobushi enemies and Kairagi monsters in Inazuma. The Handguards drop in pairs of three and can be sold to level 60 players. Farming Handguards can be accomplished by using Inazuma Blossoms of Wealth and Wisdom, which will earn your character xp and Mora.
Blackcliff Longsword: This weapon gives you the highest Base ATK, and it synergizes well with the 4-Piece Blizzard Strayer. Another good 5-star weapon for Ayaka is the Primordial Jade Cutter. It is a very effective weapon that buffs her ATK and scales its DMG bonus based on her increased HP. The Amenoma Kageuchi is another excellent weapon to craft. It gives you a lot of ATK, and it also has a passive that grants energy recharge. You can even use this weapon to build a weapon to increase your ATK.
When crafting weapons for Ayaka, use Shivada Jade Sliver, 6 Shivada Jade Chunks, and 2 Blizzard Strayer to maximize damage potential. Alternatively, you can choose to use Charged Attack or Elemental Burst, which increases damage but decreases the damage from Normal Attacks and Elemental Skill. If you have a double DPS team, consider the Charged Attack build.
Sakura Bloom
Obtaining the required amount of Sakura Blooms for Kamisato Ayaka requires some materials. You can find these items on the wild in Inazuma, as well as on normal bosses, but the amount is quite low. The handguard and the Elegance book are the best options for obtaining the materials. However, if you can’t find them, you can also farm them in the wild.
To get these items, you will have to complete the six Ascension phases for Ayaka. For example, you will need eight Shivada Jade Chunks and nine Shivada Jade Fragments. Similarly, you will need six Shivada Jade Gemstones. Once you have collected enough of these materials, you can create your Ayaka’s handguard. You will also need eighteen Old Handguards, six Kageuchi Handguards, thirty Famed Handguards, and 46 Perpetual Hearts. Once you have these materials, you can begin crafting Sakura Blooms.
The Sakura Bloom has a new talent, Ayaka. She can be used to attack opponents with her Electro ability. These materials are shared between Ayaka and Kokomi. They can be obtained fairly easily but they take a while to collect. The ascension materials are also shared between both characters. Ascension materials for Ayaka can be acquired through the same method. You must gather as many as you can so that you can fully upgrade your character.
The 4 piece Blizzard Strayer is another weapon to consider. This weapon will increase your Cryo DMG by 15% and your CRIT Rate by 20%. It will also help you increase your CRIT Rate, making your Ayaka a great shield for your team. You should also consider the Charged Attack for double DPS teams. The 4-piece Blizzard Strayer is a great choice for this weapon.
4-Piece Blizzard Strayer
The Blizzard Strayer set can be used to level up Ayaka. It provides a hefty boost to Cryo damage and can be obtained from various sources including normal and weekly bosses, and reliquaries in the Spiral Abyss. The bonus to the artifact set is limited to the person wearing the item. If you want to make the most of the set, consider combining it with the other two pieces of talent materials.
The Ayaka talent materials from this set can also be used to increase the damage output of other characters. Combined with a Gladiators set, it can increase attack DMG by 18%. This set is also recommended to boost damage from elemental bursts. The Noblesse Oblige set is also worth picking up, as it increases Ayaka’s elemental damage by 20%.
The passive Talent of Ayaka can be used to boost her damage by 30% on normal and charged targets. It also increases her critical damage by 18% when she freezes an enemy. This passive talent can be used to increase her overall DPS, so it is highly recommended to pair it with other elements, such as Aqua and Cryo characters. The Ayaka talent materials from the Blizzard Strayer set are extremely useful when completing the Freeze build.
Getting the right Ayaka talent materials is crucial for the character’s success. The main talent, Ayaka, requires 18 Bloodjade Branches to max out. These items are common crafting materials for Cryo Characters. This skill also requires Mora and Shivada Jade Sliver fragments. After all, this is a simple DPS class.
